I’m in the process of launching a foster-based nonprofit in Ontario focused on extremely small dogs with complex medical needs, as well as providing financial assistance for veterinary care and grooming to pet owners in need.
After years of helping quietly where I could, it became clear that this work needs to be done in a more sustainable way so more animals and families can be supported long-term.

Dying at the tube in the oven!
When just the legs are wet the cat looks like a sheep.
I had a ragdoll that was weird when it came to grooming. Being put in the kitchen sink was a HUGE no-no, but he would happily walk into the shower while I was getting undressed and flopped around under the spray and stayed there… And then fell asleep when I dried him with a towel
We had a ragdoll from tiny kitten ball of fluff until almost nineteen years old and he was very independent. Indoor/outdoor in a big city no less. Super smart. Everyone around us seemed to love him. And he purred while being hosed down at the groomers. Loved it
My parents have had 2 ragdolls that did not seem to read the breed brochure. They were sweet but did not like being held and were very independent.
