HUGE Channel Announcement… While Grooming A Tiny Miniature Schnauzer Puppy 🥹

💛 Barely A Dog Rescue 💛
I’m in the process of launching a foster-based nonprofit in Ontario focused on extremely small dogs with complex medical needs, as well as providing financial assistance for veterinary care and grooming to pet owners in need.
After years of helping quietly where I could, it became clear that this work needs to be done in a more sustainable way so more animals and families can be supported long-term.

  2. Thank you Vanessa for thinking about the people who cannot afford a super expensive emergency for their animal but can afford to normally take care of them in this process you are starting. I’ve always thought it was terribly sad that someone would have to give up permanently their animal because of one incident of not being able to afford care. Especially as a lot of overcrowded rescues have a tendency to just put the animal down. When a couple thousand dollars stands between somebody’s pet continuing to live many years in a loving home it feels so sad.

  3. I have 18 cats, 3 dogs, and a bird, so I totally say that if you can afford the care, get another fur friend!
